eastdetective- Conan has the ability to perform Sherlock scans on complete strangers. This means he can take tiny clues in your characters appearance and use deductive logic to figure out things like their hobbies, what they do for a living and where they've traveled recently. Of course Conan will only be able to interpret things that he knows about from his world.
- Is Conan allowed to use a Sherlock Scan on your character?
- What observations would he be able to make? Does your character have calluses from a hobby or a particular accent?
- What would he be allowed to deduce about your character from observations?

Well, you know the canon, IIRC. Ken would have studied judo and played soccer, but he's only just getting back to that after a few months in the Digital World. He wasn't starving then, but was doing the 'only eat when reminded to'. His accent puts him as a Tokyo-native, and he has the kind of word-use pattern you associate with kids who are well-read. Also the fact that being on his own in a strange world is normal. At 11, he's not worried about starving or being homeless on his own.

Date: 2016-04-12 07:39 pm (UTC)2/3: Kagari probably has an errant burn scar or two on his hands or wrists. He likes to cook, and accidents happen. Nothing major or obvious, but definitely there to be picked up on. He's also very physically fit, but it's slim muscle as opposed to bulky and he's fairly short. This is due to mild malnutrition and inactivity as a kid and adolescent, but currently he's very healthy. He was kept in a solitary isolation facility from the age of 5-19. He was taken care of and it was sanitary, but the lack of activity and normal socialization left its mark. Also he smiles a lot, just sort of as his default expression. I'm not sure what if anything Conan could make of that but it is notable.

Flynn has sword calluses, and an only slightly dodgy book source tells me that regularly wearing armor also creates calluses, so he'd have some on his arms from his pauldrons/vambraces/gauntlets. Anything you want to have him deduce about Flynn being a knight or having a military background from his posture/bearing/manners is fine! No useful notes on accents since he's from a weird fantasy world, though that's also fair game since he mentioned magic.
